The problem it solves: In ESS, employees’ documents — tax certificates, HR files and the like — were buried under My Information sub-tabs. Files people need often were slow to find, tucked inside the profile layout rather than somewhere obvious.
What we built: My Documents is now a dedicated item in the main ESS sidebar, decoupled from the profile layout while still respecting country-level field-group settings. Employees reach and download their documents in one click, straight from the sidebar.

How it works
In ESS, open My Documents from the sidebar to see and download the documents available to you. There’s nothing to configure — the item appears in the sidebar for employees, with the same country-level field-group rules applied.
